ice skate When it's cold enough, out come the snow shovels to clear a place for ice skating on Alta or Green Lakes in Whistler. Please note, there is no provider in Whistler whereby you can rent skates, so guests will have to use their own.

If visitors don't have their own ice skates, there is another option. Whistlers Meadow Park Recreation Centre has public 'drop-in' skating times and skate hire. Public skating takes place on most afternoons and some Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings. Skate rentals are available and friendly and courteous employees are on hand to help.
