No, we do not charge resort fees. As a general rule we strongly disagree with nickel and diming guests with petty charges for every last thing.
The nightly rates listed are subject to 14.24% tax. There are no other resort fees, cleaning fees, or extra charges. What you see is what you get.
The only exception is with shorter stays of 3 nights or less duration, we may at our discretion charge a cleaning fee.
Yes. When we say we are on call 24/7 we mean it.
At night our phones are charging on the bedside table. We manage a group of luxury homes and if there is an emergency we want to know immediately. And if a guest is in distress or needs emergency assistance, we want to help. We all live in Whistler and are minutes away. But don't feel sorry for us, we get to live in Whistler.
You travel half-way around the world and arrive at your accommodation late. The next morning, jet lagged, you try to get the kids' gear together and head out on the slopes. Your kids are of different ski levels. You try to figure out where to go, where to have lunch, and if you split up, where to meet. You can't follow your teenager off-piste but you don't want him to go alone. Stop, we can help.

Whistler is a pricey place to live and wages are relatively low, particularly for front line staff. Of course, no one is forced to live here, but gratuities help augment their income and they are greatly appreciated.

Our business is booking accommodation, activities and transportation. Companies we do business with reward us for bringing them volume.
With a private charter your driver is waiting at airport arrivals to greet you. With a private charter the schedule is yours. If time permits, we offer approximately 30 minutes of stopping, complimentary, to do things like pick up groceries, get a snack or go to the bathroom.
With a shuttle you wait for the next scheduled service, generally leaving every two hours. The shuttle has a set route and after a number of pick ups and drop offs, you arrive at your accommodation. Can you say "milk route". You may need to transfer buses in Whistler in order to get dropped off at your door.

If you have booked a Whistler Wired Accommodation, we will make every effort to accommodate a late checkout. It depends on the date of the next booking and on the availability of our cleaning team.
In general, a late checkout cannot be guaranteed until 24 hours prior to your scheduled checkout time. When possible, we can provide a noon checkout at no additional charge. Noon to 2 p.m., $100 per hour; 2 to 4 p.m., half-day charge; 4 p.m. and later, full day charge.

You do not have to book an entire package (though we recommend it). We are happy to arrange your accommodation only or just a one-off airport transfer.

We let the instructor know what to expect in advance so they can mentally prepare and maximize your experience. The same goes for the opposite. That is, if it's all about fun, we know who to call.

Whistler Wired is approved and insured by Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains to provide orientation guiding services for our guests.
If you book a minimum 5-night stay, combined with lift passes, we'll include a half-day of guiding at no charge. This is an orientation tour that does not include instruction.
Whistler Blackcomb is the exclusive provider of ski and snowboard instruction. Guiding does not include lift line priority; whereas, ski and snowboard lessons do.
